Take regular feedback about Covid and Non-Covid hospitals from the nodal officers: CM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to take regular feedback about Covid and Non-Covid hospitals from the nodal officers deployed in various districts. The necessary follow up action should be taken on the basis of the feedback from the nodal officers, the Chief Minister said while presiding over a high-level Unlock review meeting here at his official residence.

He said that the caution at every level is required to control the Covid-19 infection. It is necessary to adhere to the prevention protocol while conducting 2 various activities during Unlock-2. He asked to ensure that the two meter distancing and the use of masks are being followed. The people should be motivated and encouraged to observe social distancing norms, he said adding that publicity activities should remain continued to create awareness among the masses.

The Chief Minister directed to continue effective police patrolling as before and asked to check public gathering and strict monitoring in the containment zones. He said that all essentials commodities should be available in the containment zones so that the citizens residing there do not have to face any problem. He also put emphasis on setting up Covid Help Desks in all the government and private institutions. He pointed out that all the precautionary steps should be taken to control Covid-19 spread in Ghaziabad district. Asking to strengthen health services in Ghaziabad, he directed the Health and Medical Education departments officials to camp there.

The Chief Minister said that in the pursuit of containing the Covid-19 and controlling the death rate, the surveillance teams have a bigger role to play. He said that the active participation by the surveillance team can lead to timely admission of the patients and prevent loss of lives. He asked to increase the number of surveillance teams in Ghaziabad and Baghpat. He also asked to encourage Rapid Antigen Testings to ramp up Covid testings further.

He said the training programmes should be conducted to prepare trained medical teams. Asha workers and retired medical employees can be roped in and trained in the process. The Chief Minister asked to make arrangements in advance to conduct the Foodgrain Distribution Drive commencing on 05 July 2020.

He asked to ensure no complaint about weight and measure or any irregularity is received. He said the DMs should monitor every activity of Foodgrain Distribution Drive on a regular basis. He also directed the officials to prepare an action plan to reduce the human loss from lightening.
