Indians have been avid fans of the sport Cricket and our country has emerged as a top country in the leader board of cricket. The nation had been the birthplace of many legends of the game that are loved worldwide. Playing for the country have been the dream of many young talents and a list of talented budding cricketers are still struggling to get their share. Sharing the story of one such name we bring for our readers a player from Delhi, Moksh Murgai, who is passionate and determined professional state level cricketer who aspires to wear the jersey and take the world to a stride with his talent.

Fascinated towards the game, Moksh started from the age of 7 and covering his journey of 13 years has come a long way in this game. Presently he is a student of Delhi University where he represents being the Sports President of DUSU, 2020. Sharing he tells, “ I am a resident of delhi and has represented India in a tournament in Lucknow in 2018 and has been a part of Ranji Railways Camp under-23. From playing in school and going for zonal and inter-zonal tournaments I have played in junior, sub-junior and senior categories of nationals too”.

 

Taking a look on his score chart he has brilliantly performed in almost every match. In the last season, he scored 1200 runs. His past records boasts of his 850 runs in 2018 DDCA League alongwith a quality of off-spinner he took 20 wickets. Moksh has also scored more than 30 centuries and 50 plus half centuries in his name. His hard work and courage got him a sponsorship from SH Sports, Meerut for the year 2019-20.

Speaking on his weak moment he says, “In Sports, the best part is that you become unstoppable.  An injury in a player’s life cannot stop him from achieving his goal, so was with me. The back injury in 2019 did not stop me rather motivated me to play more and do much more hard work towards my dream.”

 

Moksh’s is inspired by the life and game of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his  mantra is to perform until your will doesn’t allow you to stop from achieving your goal.
