CM expressed satisfaction over achieving availability of 1.51 lakh beds in the Covid hospitals

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed satisfaction over achieving availability of 1.51 lakh beds in the Covid hospitals and 25,000 Covid testings per day. He urged the state machinery to keep on improving arrangements in the Covid hospitals and ramp up testings to 30,000 per day. Presiding over a high-level Unlock review meeting at his official.

he said that the caution has to be maintained for protection against the infection and the complete Covid-19 protocol should be followed during Unlock-2 also. It should be ensured that the people wear face masks and 2 maintain social distancing while the regular police patrolling will guard against crowd gathering, he added. Laying emphasis on the medical screening, he said the medical screening teams should go house – to- house for screenings and the persons found unwell be sent to hospitals.

He also asked to monitor the data collected by the medical screening team which, in turn, will help making a strategy to counter the menace of Covid-19. The Chief Minister directed to increase Rapid Antigen Testings. He put emphasis on the wide publicity for protection against infectious diseases along with Covid and asked to set up Covid Help Desks in all government and private institutions. He reiterated to pay special attention to Meerut division. He asked to conduct a 10-day special drive of house-to-house medical screening in all the districts of Meerut division.

The suspects should be sent to medical facility while the extensive protective measures to be taken at all the prominent places. The Chief Minister directed that the water conservation works should be done through MNREGA. He also directed to run industrial units with full capacity while following the protection protocol of Covid-19. He instructed to make all arrangements for an effective control on locusts. He also directed to promote Zero Budget Agriculture through Agriculture Science Centres.
