Producers Guild of India has drawn up a list of preventive measures to be followed by the cast and crew on sets. As per the document, some of the new rules reportedly include actors will be requested to do their own makeup and styling at home and report to set with only one staff member ideally and producers will be requested to allocate masks for crew members.
But with reality show like Roadies, which requires the entire team to stay together, live together and travel together, when asked about how they will go about to shoot the show, Roadies leader Rannvijay Singha exclusively told E Times TV, “Post the lockdown, we will have to see how situation permits. We can’t decide on anything right now. When the rules are made, we will abide by them and plan accordingly. There was a time when I was hosting the show and doing all the stunts. I would stay in a same room with the then director Raghu and our DOP. For 12 years of Roadies there was no-makeup required. Only when gang leaders came in there were stylists and entourage. I didn’t have a make-up person or even an assistant. I don’t know If other celebrities would be able to. I have grown up with Roadies and I have given my blood and sweat to it.”
